This barn facing the South Wales coast was converted in the 60's to provide additional living space for the adjacent farmhouse. We took off the asbestos clad roof and rebuilt it entirely, replaced rusting metal windows and doors with new double glazed timber ones, built a mezzanine level in the barn as an additional bedroom with fantastic sea views, built a new timber framed and clad extension to contain kitchen and dining room, and terraced the garden. We also designed, built and installed the new kitchen and a pair of sofas (one shown).
